Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi Go may launch in India this month: Likely specs, price and more
NEW DELHI: February seems to be big month for Xiaomi in India. According to speculations, the company may launch as many as three smartphones this month. These, as per reports, are Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi Go. Redmi Note 7 Pro is reported to be slightly higher version of Redmi Note 7.
While Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Go have already launched in the overseas market, Redmi Note 7 Pro was announced by Xiaomi at former's launch event in China. Redmi sub-brand head Lu Weibing also asked company's fans on social media website if they had any particular wishlist for Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone.

All three smartphones -- Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi Go -- are expected to launch in India this month. The company has been teasing Redmi Note 7 for weeks now.

Xiaomi's Global VP and India MD Manu Kumar Jain had been teasing the upcoming launch of Redmi Note 7. He, however, has not revealed the smartphone's launch date or the price. However, his tweet suggests that the company will be pricing the smartphone very competitively. Most reports suggest it will be priced below Rs 10,000. Redmi Note 7 Pro is likely to be priced slightly higher. Redmi Go is expected to be the cheapest smartphone among the lot. The smartphone went up for pre-orders earlier this month. It is priced at at 3,990 Philippine Peso, which roughly translates to Rs 5,400.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 sports a 6.3-inch full HD+ display with 1080x2340 pixel resolution. It has a dew drop notch on display, which is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The smartphone runs on octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and is powered by Android 9.0 Pie operating system topped with company's own MIUI 10. It comes in three different RAM and storage variants -- 3GB/32GB, 4GB/64 and 6GB/64GB. The key highlight of the smartphone is its 48MP primary rear camera. For selfies, the smartphone has a 13MP camera.
As for Redmi Note 7 Pro, there's not much know on specifications front. However, speculations suggest that it will come with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
As the name reveals, Xiaomi Redmi Go runs on the Android Go. The company's first Android Go smartphone, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor with Adreno 308 GPU support. It sports a 5-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. The dual-SIM Redmi Go smartphone comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, expandable up to 128GB.
For photos, the smartphone offers a 5-megapixel camera sensor with f/2.2 aperture on front. The primary camera is 8-megapixel at the back with f/2.0 aperture. It also has features like HDR support and LED flash. Xiaomi Redmi Go is backed by 3000mAh battery.
