Wo meri aarzoo thi wo hi meri pehchan thi
Har roz guzarti thi meri dil ke paas se
Wo ladki khel jati thi mere ehsaas se
M chalta tha wo mere paas daud aati thi
Ek kore kaagaz me kavita si utar jati thi
M dekhu to wo muskurati thi
Wo dekhti thi ya mujh par karti koi ehsaan thi
Mujhko zindagi jeena tha aur wo meri jaan thi
Wo meri aarzoo thi wo hi meri pehchan thi.
